Mark Wynegar, CFA

President, Portfolio Manager

Mark is the president of Tributary Capital Management and is a portfolio manager for the firm’s Small Cap, Small/Mid Cap and All Cap Equity strategies. Mark has nearly 25 years of industry experience and joined Tributary Capital Management’s predecessor, First Investment Group, in 1999. Prior to joining Tributary, he worked for five years at Westchester Capital Management as a senior securities analyst and two years at Union Pacific Railroad as a financial analyst, both in Omaha, Nebraska. Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1997. Mark is a member of the CFA Society of Nebraska and the CFA Institute. He served on the Board of Directors of the CFA Society of Nebraska from 2002 to 2009, serving as president during 2007 and 2008.

 

Michael Johnson, CFA

Portfolio Manager, Analyst

Mike serves as a portfolio manager for the Small Cap Equity strategy and is responsible for researching the technology and communication services sectors. Mike has nearly 25 years of industry experience and joined Tributary Capital Management’s predecessor, First Investment Group, in 2005. Prior to joining Tributary, he worked for 11 years at Principal Global Investors in Des Moines, Iowa as an equity analyst and portfolio manager. Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Masters of Business Administration from Drake University. Mike earned his CFA designation in 1997 and is a member of the CFA Society of Nebraska and the CFA Institute.

 

Donald Radtke

Portfolio Manager, Analyst

Don serves as portfolio manager for the Small/Mid Cap Equity, Large Cap and Equity Income strategies and is responsible for covering the energy and industrial sectors for the investment team. Don has over 26 years of financial industry experience and joined Tributary Capital Management's predecessor, First Investment Group, in 2007. Prior to joining Tributary Capital Management, Don spent over seven years as an equity and fixed income analyst and fund co-manager for WB Capital Management in Des Moines, Iowa. He was also an analyst at Bank of America Capital Management in St. Louis, Missouri, and Piper Jaffray and Craig-Hallum in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. Don is a member of the CFA Society of Nebraska and the CFA Institute.

 

Nicholas Nevole, CFA

Portfolio Manager, Analyst

Nick serves as a portfolio manager for the Large Cap and Equity Income strategies and is responsible for covering the financials, real estate and utilities sectors for the investment team. He joined Tributary Capital Management in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Nick worked for two years for Tributary’s parent company as a senior credit analyst and two years for Tributary’s predecessor as an equity analyst intern. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in finance from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Nick earned his CFA designation in 2013. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the CFA Society of Nebraska and is a member of the CFA Institute.

 

Chad Mollman

Senior Analyst

Chad joined Tributary Capital Management in 2015 and is responsible for covering the consumer discretionary and consumer staples sectors for the investment team. Prior to joining the firm, Chad was an equity analyst with Morningstar in Chicago covering the consumer leisure space for four years. Before Morningstar he worked for 12 years in the private equity industry, focusing on management buyouts of consumer and business services companies. Chad received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Iowa and his Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Business School with an emphasis on value investing.

 

Ryan Khoury

Senior Analyst

Ryan joined Tributary Capital Management in 2018 and is responsible for covering the healthcare and materials sectors for the investment team. Prior to joining the firm, Ryan spent over eight years as an equity investment analyst with the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System and was an equity analyst at Susquehanna Capital Group in Chicago. He also worked as a research associate at Hudson Square Research, Bear Stearns and RBC Capital Markets in New York. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and money management from the University of Minnesota. Ryan earned his CFA designation in 2001 and is a member of the CFA Institute.

 

Ted Kirkpatrick

Analyst

Ted joined Tributary Capital Management in 2016 and serves as a generalist for the investment team. Ted worked with the team as an equity-analyst intern in 2015 and 2016. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Ted has passed all three levels of the CFA program and will be eligible for the CFA charter upon completion of the required work experience. Ted is a member of the CFA Society of Nebraska and the CFA Institute.

 

Beau Hoskins

Associate Analyst

Beau serves as an associate analyst to both the operational and investment teams. Beau began his current role in October 2017 but initially joined Tributary Capital Management in May 2017 as an equity-analyst intern for the investment team. Prior to joining the firm, Beau was an associate representative for Thrivent Financial in Lexington, Kentucky and an operations specialist for Ameriprise Financial. Beau received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from Eastern Kentucky University and is currently working towards a Master of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Sales and Client Support

Brittany Fahrenkrog

Director of Sales & Client Services

Brittany is the director of sales and client services and serves as the central point of contact for clients and prospects. Brittany coordinates the on-boarding of new clients and is the key liaison for the Tributary Funds, the proprietary fund complex of Tributary Capital Management. In 2017, she became a member of the Tributary Funds Board of Directors and currently serves as vice president. She also manages special projects within Tributary Capital Management including new product development and strategic planning. Brittany joined Tributary Capital Management's predecessor, First Investment Group, in 2002 as a marketing specialist. Prior to joining the firm, she spent two years at Union Pacific Railroad and one year with Morgan Stanley, both in Omaha, Nebraska. Brittany received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Master of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

 

Conan Heelan, CFA

Portfolio Specialist

Conan serves as the portfolio specialist and is responsible for working with national institutional clients and prospects to articulate the philosophy, process and results of the firm’s investment strategies. Before beginning his current role, he joined Tributary’s predecessor, First Investment Group, in 2005 as an analyst covering the financials and consumer staples sectors. Prior to re-joining Tributary Capital Management in 2018, Conan earned his International Masters of Business Administration at IE University in Madrid, Spain and worked for more than four years as an investor relations manager for Gogo Inc. in Chicago. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earned the CFA designation in 2009. Conan is a member of the CFA Society of Nebraska and the CFA Institute.

 

Brian Moreland

Sales & Marketing Specialist

Brian serves as the sales and marketing specialist and is responsible for the sales function within the footprint of our parent company. Brian joined Tributary’s parent company, First National Bank, in 2007 as a business development officer. In this capacity, he was responsible for business development activity for corporate trust, institutional investment management and retirement plan services across the bank’s seven state geographical area. Prior to joining First National, Brian held senior sales director positions at DTN, First Data Corporation and IBM Corporation. Brian earned his Master of Science in economics from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor of Science in political science from Nebraska Wesleyan University.

 

Elizabeth Nelson

Compliance and Marketing Specialist

Elizabeth is the compliance and marketing specialist and serves as the key liaison to the Chief Compliance Officer in the daily compliance function. Elizabeth is the day-to-day compliance contact and supports the implementation and maintenance of the firm’s compliance program. She also assists in marketing, mutual fund administration and client support. Elizabeth joined Tributary Capital Management in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a director of client service for five years at a broker-dealer, Investment Centers of America. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in marketing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Operations

Scott Pfeiler

Director of Operations

Scott is the director of operations and is responsible for managing Tributary Capital Management's performance measurement and operational and trading systems. Scott joined Tributary in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for seven years at DST Systems in Kansas City, Missouri, as a senior operations solutions specialist, and as a corporate risk analyst at TD Ameritrade in Omaha, Nebraska. Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in finance from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

 

Scott Gray

Trader, Operations Analyst

Scott serves as lead trader and operations analyst. Scott is responsible for executing trades for each of the firm’s strategies and for monitoring the daily activity and operational systems for Tributary. Prior to joining Tributary Capital Management in 2011, Scott worked for Tributary’s parent company as a member of the securities settlement team. He received his Bachelor of Science with a major in business management from Northwest Missouri State.
